I am beyond excited to be part of the Villarreal ES family and to be back in this wonderful community as a Vice-Principal. I attended UTSA and obtained my bachelor's degree in Mexican American Studies and a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a minor in bilingual education along with an ESL certification. I continued my education at UTSA while completing coursework to obtain a principal certification. My previous educational experiences include serving as a math teacher as well as an academic support teacher at Sul Ross Middle School. Go Rebels! I most recently served at Harlandale ISD and held the position of Academic Dean. I have been married for 20 years and I am a proud mom of two amazing children. My son attends Texas Tech University and my daughter attends Texas A&M University. I look forward to supporting an educational community that ensures ALL students can achieve academic success at any level.
