Latest Headlines From Northside ISD
Northside ISD is holding an Auxiliary Job Fair to fill almost 300 positions for bus drivers, food service workers, food service manager trainees, police officers, custodians, and maintenance workers. The Job Fair will be held from 8:30-11:30 a.m. Friday, July 14 at the Northside Activity Center, 7001 Culebra Road.
Last night, Trustees discussed and took action on several items: presented the Northside Citizenship Award to a life-saving O’Connor HS graduate; approved a Growth & Improvement Budget for 2017-2018; signed a Code of Ethics, reaffirming their commitment to adhere to ethical and educational standards; and appointed several campus administrators, including a new principal for Taft HS.
The Rising Stars Theatre Camp is presenting The Wizard of Oz in a free public performance on Tuesday, June 27 at 2 p.m. in the Stevens High School auditorium, 600 N Ellison Drive.
To comply with U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) regulations, Northside ISD will once again offer free meals to children starting June 5. This year, free meals are available at 18 schools for children who are 18 years or younger.
