Mrs. Valles is a former high school assistant principal, special education campus coordinator, and an ALE/Transition teacher working with students who have cognitive, physical and social emotional disabilities. In addition, Mrs. Valles served in the US Army and is a former New Mexico police officer. She is a graduate from the University of the Southwest with a Bachelors in Criminal Justice, a Masters in Education Administration, and is currently a doctoral candidate. She received her teacher and administrative certifications through UTSA and ACT. Mrs. Valles is married to a combat veteran, Erasmo Valles, and they have three children, Ty, Lorenzo, and Tatianna.

Ms. Carlson has been an educator at Holmgreen since 1991 in various different roles, such as a teacher, specialist, coordinator and administrator. She has her Masters in Education in Admin Leadership from Trinity University and nearly 15 years experience of being an administrator. Ms. Carlson is a South Texas native and UT Austin Alumni.
